For your convenience, and to provide you with the most cost-effective services possible, I break invoices down right to the minute. While many service providers break their billing down into hourly or 15-minute increments, I don't want you to pay for even a minute that wasn't used solely to provide you with the highest quality services or products. You will only pay for the time that was dedicated to your project!
All services, with the exception of editing-related projects, are billed at my hourly rate. My current rate is $18.00/hr. There are no additional tax charges. Please keep in mind that I can accomplish a lot in just one hour!

Editing services are billed depending on the level of editing required. Please see the available editing packages listed below for more information.
Proofreading Package: Includes spelling, grammar, punctuation, and word usage. $1.25 per page.
Comprehensive Editing Package: Includes spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage, tense usage, academic professionalism, cliche checking, flow, pacing, clarity, formatting, and suggestions. $2.50 per page.
Substantive Editing Package: Includes spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage, tense usage, academic professionalism, cliche checking, flow, pacing, clarity, formatting, suggestions, citation checking, complex formatting, plot, characterization, theme, and an in-depth, 2-pass review of the document. $3.25 per page.
Please note that for billing purposes, 1 page = 250 words, regardless of font size or formatting.
I send detailed invoices outlining all charges, billed right down to the minute. Invoices are emailed to the client upon the completion of the requested task(s), and upon the client's satisfaction with their quality. Payment is due upon completion of your project, with a grace period of 7 days, starting on the date the invoice is received, unless alternate arrangements were agreed upon before work commenced.
For large projects, a deposit of 50% of the fees is due up-front, with the remaining 50% due upon the completion of the project. For large or complex projects, a contract may be drawn up and signed by both parties to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
For ongoing work (several shifts a week), outstanding balances will be billed at the end of the business day on Fridays, and will include all work conducted for the previous week.
Once payment is successfully received, I will send out a detailed receipt for your records.
I accept payments through PayPal, Interac e-transfer, or Square.
